Five clubs in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH submit initiative to Krišto for appointment of Nebojša Vukanović as Minister of Security of BiH

(Patria) - An initiative for the appointment of the Minister of Security of BiH has been submitted to the Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Borjana Krišto, and the proposal was put forward by the heads of five clubs in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH. They proposed that Nebojša Vukanović, currently a member of parliament in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska and head of the List for Justice and Order, be appointed as Minister of Security of BiH.

As announced by the head of the SDP BiH club, Saša Magazinović, Krišto has a prescribed deadline of eight days to propose a new candidate and submit the decision for confirmation to the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.

"It is obvious that Mr. Selak recognized in time that his name and candidacy, for which there is no support, were being toyed with, and he withdrew it. Vukanović has parliamentary support to be appointed.

We expect the HDZ to show that it understands the seriousness of the moment and to react quickly so that the Council of Ministers of BiH is completed and the Ministry of Security gets a minister. The political and security situation in the country does not allow for delays in the process," Magazinović stated.

The initiative was signed by Magazinović, Sabina Ćudić, Jasmin Emrić, Nihad Omerović, and Mira Pekić.
