Peštek: Comparing Efendić and Dodik is immoral, and invoicing the 'April Package' to SBiH is mere politicking

(Patria) - Enes Peštek, a delegate in the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament, reacted to the statement by Mirsad Čamdžić, a delegate in the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament and head of the Our Party Club in the Parliament of the Federation of BiH, regarding the equating of Semir Efendić's and Milorad Dodik's ideological approaches, stating that it is nothing more than "political equating of victim and perpetrator" on the political scene in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"While Semir Efendić, as the mayor of Novi Grad Sarajevo, the most populous municipality in BiH, and likely one of the most developed in BiH, works and builds, making Bosnia and Herzegovina more beautiful and prosperous, Milorad Dodik, with his secessionist policies, does the exact opposite.

By building the monument 'On the Wings of Freedom' in the municipality of Novi Grad, on Žuč hill, which was the scene of the fiercest battles for the survival of Sarajevo, Semir Efendić once again showed how every Bosnian and Herzegovinian should fight for Bosnia and Herzegovina from their own sphere of action. I regret that colleague Mirsad Čamdžić did not attend the opening of this monument, which was attended by many representatives from the political and public life of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to see for himself how Bosnia and Herzegovina is defended in such ways.

Many politicians take arguments from the April Package superficially and act populistically and politically towards public opinion on the BH scene, just as Mirsad Čamdžić does.

When they cannot publicly condemn an official or member of SBiH, they resort to the 'April Package,' invoicing it to SBiH, as one of the political participants in the 'April Package,' in a populist manner. I do not wish to delve further into the political and constitutional depths (and I would have much to write) of the 'April Package,' but I will remind colleague Čamdžić that, in addition to the then delegates in the BiH Parliament, the late Nijaz Duraković, a proven Bosnian and Herzegovinian and a delegate for SDP, a party with which Čamdžić's NS and the Trojka coalition now hold power at all levels in the Federation of BiH, also voted.

And while Mirsad Čamdžić equates the 'political victim and perpetrator' Efendić with Dodik, and his party colleague Miomirka Melank is bothered by the loudness of the adhan in Sarajevo mosques, SBiH, through the political actions of all its members and elected officials, will fight for BiH and all its citizens who wish well for Bosnia and Herzegovina. This statement and comparison of Semir Efendić with Milorad Dodik is, at the very least, immoral," Peštek stated.
