Law on the Southern Interconnection Adopted

The House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation passed the Bill on the Southern Interconnection BiH - Republic of Croatia gas pipeline. 51 delegates voted for the Law, with 4 abstentions and 14 against. This law enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette.

"This law removes all previous doubts and prejudices, confirming BiH's commitment to further developing infrastructure that is crucial for our future.

The Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina and its delegates in the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament have once again shown their determination to ensure the stability of the energy sector with this decision, making the FBiH and BiH stronger in terms of strengthening the statehood of Bosnia and Herzegovina through the energy sector.

This success also contributes to economic development, job creation, and improving the quality of life for all citizens," Peštek stated in a post on his Facebook profile.
