Pensions in the Federation increased by 3.5 percent

(Patria) - The Management Board of the Federal Pension and Disability Insurance Fund made a decision at today's telephone session to increase all pensions by 3.5 percent, effective from 01/01/2019, with the exception of the highest pensions and pensions earned in 2019.

The decision on harmonization includes minimum and guaranteed pensions earned in 2019, which will also be increased by 3.5 percent.

For beneficiaries of pensions earned under the Law on Early Favorable Pensioning of Defenders of the Defense-Liberation War, and according to the provisions of the said law, pension harmonization will be carried out next month by 1.6 percent, effective from 01/01/2019, with the exception of minimum pensions which are increased by 3.5 percent, in accordance with today's decision, it was announced from the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund.

In addition to the increased pensions for the month of April, beneficiaries will also receive the differences between the paid and increased pensions for the first three months upon payment, which will be on Monday, May 6.

The total funds required for pension payments for April and the differences for the first three months, including costs, amount to approximately 200 million KM.
