Pendeš remains silent on January 9th: Which report was submitted to Izetbegović, Čović, and Ivanić?

Minister of Defense of BiH Marina Pendeš announced that a report on the engagement of members of the Armed Forces of BiH during the marking of the unconstitutional holiday, the Day of Republika Srpska on January 9th in Banja Luka, will be completed on February 2nd. Furthermore, the Minister stated several times in media appearances that the public will be informed about the content of this report, writes Patria.

Six days have passed, and Pendeš is not commenting. The Minister is currently in Austria participating in a two-day meeting (February 7th to 9th) of defense ministers of Central European Defense Cooperation member states. This means the public will have to wait longer for information about the events of January 9th.

A working consultative meeting was held yesterday at the Presidency of BiH, where members of the collective head of state were presented with a report compiled by members of the investigative commission.

The commission, composed of three Bosniaks, two Serbs, and one Croat, was formed by the Chief of the Joint Staff of the AF BiH, General Anto Jeleč.

It is absurd that General Jeleč, who on the evening of January 8th halted the dispatch of an order to the field prohibiting the engagement of AF BiH members at the January 9th ceremony, is leading the investigation and forming the commission.

According to some media reports, the report submitted yesterday to the members of the Presidency of BiH allegedly showed that there were no abuses or violations of laws and procedures.

If that is indeed the case, how is the fact that four Serb generals of the AF BiH were in uniform at the ceremony marking the unconstitutional holiday characterized in the report, and who ordered them to come to Banja Luka?

Given that this is a holiday declared unconstitutional by the Constitutional Court of BiH, it is clear that the generals committed anti-constitutional or anti-Dayton activities.

The Prosecutor's Office of BiH has formed a case and opened an investigation into this matter. 

It should also be noted that during the investigation conducted by the mixed commission of the MoD BiH, and especially during the writing of the final version of the report, there were differing opinions. Thus, the completed report with all documentation received the green light from the three Bosniaks on the commission, while the Serbs and Croats did not agree and compiled their own versions.

Which version of the report reached the members of the Presidency of BiH?
