Pendeš submitted report to BiH Presidency: Who will uncover those responsible for the Armed Forces parade on January 9?

The investigation into the parade of members of the Armed Forces of BiH during the celebration of the unconstitutional holiday of RS Day on January 9, conducted by the BiH Prosecutor's Office, is ongoing.

-A case has been formed and is in progress, relating to the parade of members of the BiH Armed Forces during the celebration in Banja Luka. We cannot provide more information or details, said Boris Grubešić, spokesperson for the BiH Prosecutor's Office, for NAP.

Nermin Nikšić, Željko Komšić and Reuf Bajrović, presidents of the SDP, DF and GS, submitted a criminal complaint to the BiH Prosecutor's Office on January 23 against persons responsible for a series of abuses of position and authority, and negligent work in service, in connection with the events at the celebration of the unconstitutional RS Day and the use of the Armed Forces of BiH.

Based on this criminal complaint from three parties, the BiH Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation. The criminal complaint refers to Mladen Ivanić, Chairman of the BiH Presidency, Marina Pendeš, Minister of Defense of BiH and her deputies Sead Jusić and Boris Jerinić, Ante Jeleč, Chief of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of BiH, Mirko Tepšić, Deputy Chief of the Joint Staff for Operations, and Senad Mašović, Deputy Chief of the Joint Staff for Resources.

As announced, on February 2, a special commission formed by Jeleč completed and submitted a report on the events of January 9 to Minister Pendeš, and then the leaders of the Ministry of Defense handed the report to the members of the BiH Presidency.

Minister Pendeš promised on several occasions in statements to the media that the public would be informed about the contents of the report, i.e., the investigation that was supposed to determine whether there was a break in the chain of command and who was responsible for it, but the ball has now been deliberately passed to the BiH Presidency.

Minister Pendeš's justification is that the Presidency is the supreme commander, and that the Ministry has no authority to release any information to the public.

What is unofficially known is that the members of the Presidency were presented with a report compiled in such a way that it appears that only the procedures were flawed, and that no one broke the law!?  

On the other hand, also unofficial information is that the commission compiled and submitted three different reports to General Jeleč.

Only one of them shows the actual sequence of events and actors on January 8 and 9, and attached to it are letters from three Bosniak officers who informed their superiors in writing that this was a violation of the law and the Constitution of BiH.
