Pendeš misleads the public: All saw Serbian generals on January 9th in Banja Luka except the minister!

Numerous untruths were stated by the Minister of Defense of BiH, Marina Pendeš, while a guest on N1 television, regarding the engagement of members of the BiH Armed Forces in the observance of the unconstitutional holiday, RS Day, on January 9th, writes Patria.

Untruth: The BiH Armed Forces did not participate in the observance of RS Day.

Truth: The BiH Armed Forces did participate in the observance of RS Day. The parading of members of the 6th Infantry Brigade on January 8th and 9th was precisely active participation within unconstitutional activities.

Serbian generals participated in the ceremony held on January 9th in the Borik hall! A textbook example of anti-Dayton actions.

Standing side by side, dressed in ceremonial uniforms, were the Deputy Chief of the Joint Staff, General Mirko Tepšić, Commander of the Operational Command, General Dragan Vuković, Commander of the 6th Infantry Brigade, General Radovan Ilić, and Deputy Commander of the Support Command of the BiH Armed Forces for Resources, General Gojko Knežević.

Colonels Nebojša Janković and Milorad Krajšumović were also present at the ceremony, and Colonel Savo Vidaković at the parading of the Third Regiment.

Brigadier General Gojko Knežević gave a statement to "Glas Srpske" on January 9th, stating that he "marked RS Day in uniform and as host to the Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Army, General Ljubiša Diković.".

Untruth: The honor guard was engaged at the request of a member of the BiH Presidency, which every member of the BiH Presidency is entitled to.

Truth: Every member of the BiH Presidency is entitled to an honor guard in clearly defined situations. In Banja Luka on January 8th and 9th, it was not the BiH Armed Forces honor guard that was paraded, but members of the 6th Infantry Brigade of the BiH Armed Forces exclusively from the Serb ethnicity.

The Chairman of the BiH Presidency, Mladen Ivanić, abused his position and authority, and without consensus in the BiH Presidency, ordered soldiers to be brought out from Kozara barracks, whom he paraded and who reported to him.

Untruth: We have procedures, but we have determined that they are not detailed and clear, especially when engagement is at the request of the president at locations that are not military locations.

Truth: The Rulebook on Ceremonies and Honors, as well as the Standard Operating Procedures, are clear down to the smallest detail when it comes to the engagement of the honor guard at the request of members of the BiH Presidency as the supreme commander of the BiH Armed Forces.

Also, the request/form that members of the BiH Presidency submit to the BiH Ministry of Defense when requesting the engagement of the honor guard precisely states in what form the members of this unit can be used.
