Pećanin: I fear that the policy personified by Izetbegović is the one leading to the final division of BiH

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - From day one, we are returning to what we have lived from the war until today: scheming, lying, meddling, spinning, threats, blackmail," said Senad Pećanin, lawyer and journalist, who was a guest on this evening's edition of Pressing.

Did BiH get a chance at NATO and did Komšić defend that path?

"He did not defend the NATO path, but he did play a positive role in the fact that one of BiH's great friends, Erdogan, pressured Komšić and Džaferović at a rally in Belgrade to accept the formation of the BiH Council of Ministers without submitting a program to Brussels. Komšić was consistent and refused the pressure. BiH is not in NATO, but NATO is in BiH. That path depends more on NATO itself, not on BiH," Pećanin said on Pressing. 

He added that he did not expect such moves from Komšić, but he did expect them from Radončić, when it comes to the agreement on forming the government in the Sarajevo Canton.

"Remember what Radončić and Izetbegović said before the elections. I spoke with friends, I have an explanation that may not be acceptable to everyone because it could be expected from Radončić and is expected. He showed it through his engagements, that anything can be expected from him and that his interest is personal interest. This could not be expected from Komšić," he pointed out and then continued:

"His media industry is capable of destroying people. In Sarajevo, you don't have the fact in the media that his media empire was ordered to pay taxes of more than 11 million KM, which was promptly annulled in the second-instance procedure decided by Jerka Miličević. According to my information, a lawsuit is pending in the municipal court in which the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton and the tax inspection initiated proceedings against Jelka Milićević due to that decision. At every step, you have interests measured in millions of KM or interests in covering the most lucrative parts of the state apparatus."
Will the political "love" between Radončić and Izetbegović last?

"I think it depends on Izetbegović, it depends on him whether he will hand over the party to Radončić in the elections, that would be Radončić's only salvation because I believe that his party and DF will collapse. It has been shown that these are one-person societies, which, whether due to their greed, have lost their relevance to be able to change the situation," believes Senad Pećanin and states:

What is Dino Konaković's role in the whole story about the overthrow of the Sarajevo Canton Government?

"Two facts; the first is that he is indeed and practically the only one who has sincerely embarked on clearing up the crimes of his predecessors. This is such a case, everyone promised, both left and right and center, all parties, but no one did it except him. You know how difficult it is as a journalist when you get to the bottom of some crime and want to publish it. He did it, with all those Budnja, evidence he offered, and it remained without an epilogue due to the prosecution we have. At the same time, there is a serious political problem with him, and that is, I would say, his fundamental ignorance of what constitutes the basis of engaging in politics.

He showed this ignorance on the issue of BANU. Namely, he speaks and wonders what the problem is that Bosniaks cannot have an academy of sciences and arts. First, it is not true that Bosniaks do not have one, they do, and it is ANU BiH. But what he is trying to do is what Dodik and Čović have been doing for years. What is their goal, and what Konaković is doing in this way is the destruction of ANU in BiH. The real question is why Bosniaks cannot have a national state, like Serbs and Croats? I think this is a disastrous and tragic Bosniak policy, it is the ethnic division of BiH," believes the guest of this evening's Pressing on N1.

Is this the direction we are heading, is Bosniak policy heading towards creating its own state?

"I fear that the policy personified by Bakir Izetbegović is a policy that leads to the final division of BiH, with the important prerequisite that he personally is not accused but presents it as a matter of geopolitics, history. Bakir Izetbegović, as well as Dino Konaković, with such actions, objectively contribute, even if it is not their goal, to this cause, to the further ethnic separation of BiH. If you are not interested in a common public service, a university, why do we need a state? Then it would be nonsense," he concluded.

Mostar will be the chip with which Bakir Izetbegović and Dragan Čović will gamble regarding the formation of government at the level of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It will be used to pay for the formation of government at the entity level - stated Senad Pećanin, journalist and lawyer on Pressing on N1.a

"Now it will again be under the table, Mostar will be the chip with which Čović and Izetbegović will gamble. The fate of Mostar will be the chip with which the formation of government in the FBiH will be paid for. Not even the Council of Ministers has been formed. They are weaving a web, presenting themselves as national protectors, while behind the scenes they cooperate perfectly and protect their interests," said Pećanin.

He also reminded of the bill of 350,000 KM used to pay for the celebration of BiH taking control of the airspace.

"In a society where funds lack money for children's treatment, where children are treated through phone calls, Radončić, Zvizdić, Čavara, Čović, Bevanda... imagine that audacity," he said.

Pećanin also said that it is incomprehensible to him that after the elections in BiH, SDP and Naša stranka have the opportunity to form a government, to be the predominant force in the Government - but they refused, stating that they do not want to work with SDA, HDZ, and SNSD.

"What is the meaning of Naša stranka and its representatives engaging in politics, is it for leader Kojović to receive 12 salaries without a single session being held, or to take responsibility and do something to change the situation. If they are waiting not to enter with SDA, SNSD, and HDZ - at this pace, that will be possible around the year 2098," said Pećanin.
He assessed this as a questionable move - stating that they did not mind entering into government with Kukić's PDA in Tuzla Canton and A-SDA in Krajina.
