PDA reported Bego Gutić to the CEC because he published a denial on the website and profile of the Banovići municipality: CEC fined SDA 3,500 KM

(Patria) - The Movement for Democratic Action, formally led by Elzina Pirić, submitted a complaint to the Central Election Commission against Bego Gutić because he published a private denial of Pirić's statements on the official website of the Banovići Municipality and the municipality's Facebook page.

In the complaint, the PDA stated that Gutić thereby misused public resources, as he should have done so on his private profile.

“During the proceedings, it was established that the current mayor, Bego Gutić, published a denial on the municipality's website and Facebook profile, and the decision is that the CEC declares the SDA responsible because Bego Gutić, the mandate holder and holder of executive office, misused public funds and resources for the promotion of the party he belongs to, thereby violating the Election Law, so the said party is fined 3,500 KM,” states the explanation of the CEC, which made the decision at its session on June 21.

This concerns the publication of a denial on May 27, which is still available on the Facebook page of the Banovići Municipality, in which Gutić denies the allegations made by Elzina Pirić on N1 television regarding Gutić and the SDA party.
