(Patria) - The road surface is mostly wet to dry in lowlands, while in higher mountainous areas it is predominantly wet. According to collected information, landslides are possible due to temperature fluctuations. Fog and low cloud cover reduce visibility on sections: Prozor-Jablanica, Konjic-Jablanica, Bugojno-Rostovo-Novi Travnik, Bugojno-Gornji Vakuf-Uskoplje, Bugojno-Donji Vakuf, Turbe-Nević Polje, Tarčin-Bradina, as well as in the wider area: Potpeća, Banovići, Kalesija, Bukinje and Kladanj. On all road routes, we advise more cautious driving while respecting all traffic regulations.
Due to works on replacing lighting fixtures, the tube in the Igman tunnel on the A-1 motorway section Sarajevo west – Lepenica is closed for traffic. Traffic runs in both directions on the opposite side of the motorway, with traffic signs in place, until the completion of the works.
According to information from the company maintaining the Jablanica-Blidinje main road section, passenger vehicles up to 3.5t travel with difficulty, at their own risk. For vehicles over 3.5t, traffic remains suspended.
Landslide remediation is underway at the Sijeračke stijene location on the Dobro Polje-Miljevina main road, where between 08:00 and 17:00 hours there are stoppages lasting up to 45 minutes.
Works are ongoing on main roads: Semizovac-Olovo, Jajce-Crna Rijeka, Bileća-Trebinje (at the Žudojevići site), Gacko-Foča (in Sastavci), as well as at the entrance to Neum.
At border crossings, waiting times for passenger vehicles are no longer than 30 minutes.
Due to passenger registration under the new system for exiting and entering European Union countries (EES, Entry/Exit System), longer waiting times are possible at border crossings.
The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes. Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tonnes maximum permissible mass at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Freight vehicles over 5t are redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the Šepak border crossing. Freight vehicles can travel at the Šepak border crossing from 09:00 to 13:00 and from 22:00 to 06:00 (on weekends they can cross during the 22:00 to 06:00 period).
We remind drivers that possession of winter equipment is mandatory on roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
