Pavić dismissed from Čelik: FIFA will hear about this, because some individuals here elevate themselves above the club

The former head of the professional staff of NK Čelik, Boris Pavić, is no longer in that position as of last night, which was confirmed to journalists today. The NK Čelik Emergency Committee, formed at the club's Assembly last week, decided to terminate the contract with the head of the club, writes the Patria News Agency.

- I am unpleasantly surprised and this is a situation in which I was caught off guard. After the unpleasant defeat against Željezničar, I sent a message to the club leaders about the mutual termination of the contract between the club and Stipe Barač and me - Pavić stated.

Currently, the only thing that suits Čelik is its position in the standings; Čelik is sixth in the standings with 22 points.

- I regret that my case will be transferred to lawyers and that I will have to protect myself through UEFA and FIFA, because some individuals here elevate themselves above the club. These are moments when I have to protect myself, my contract, and everything we have achieved so far. The way I was expelled from the club is incomprehensible and inappropriate for a club, especially after the results I achieved - says Pavić.

He emphasizes that he is extremely sorry and feels deceived by the club leaders, and added that NK Čelik has a new biggest fan.

In the remainder of the season, NK Čelik will be led by Elvedin Beganović.
