Patria targeted by hackers: Attacks will also be reported to EUROPOL

(Patria) - BH news agency Patria has been under strong and targeted hacker attacks for the past seven days.

According to experts, these were planned attacks aimed at preventing the dissemination of information from the BH news agency Patria to end users.

Hackers from Chinese IP addresses scanned the system and data on our server located in the European Union, thereby choking the system.

Technical services managed to defend the system after several days of work and restore the website www.nap.ba to operation.

The management of NA Patria, as well as the company from Slovenia that maintains the website www.nap.ba, will report these attacks to the local police and EUROPOL.

Given that the BH news agency Patria (NAP) is a dynamic, professional, and patriotically oriented media outlet that actively monitors political developments in BiH, and that we are already well-recognized for our influence, there is a basis for reasonable suspicion that this is also a politically motivated attack.

We remind that the BH news agency Patria has come under fire from high-ranking politicians in recent weeks, but we will leave the identification of the attackers and the background of the attack to the Slovenian police and Europol.
