Hundreds of high school students from BiH will present their works at the Bosnian Science Olympiad, held on April 8 and 9 in Sarajevo.
Students will compete in four categories: Engineering, Web Design, Environment, and I Have an Idea, writes the Patria news agency.
The Bosnian Science Olympiad is a platform through which high school students can present their projects and win valuable scholarships. The project is also an opportunity for young people to acquire new competencies and develop their ideas.
Projects submitted by high school students are evaluated by an expert committee. Significance, applicability, scientific/design approach, and project presentation are scored. Committee members are professors, scientists, and academics, as well as practitioners – representatives of leading companies in our market.
Last year's Olympiad had a total of 175 registered projects.
Official partners of this year's Olympiad are: the Embassy of the United States of America in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Izvor Nade Foundation, while sponsors are: Bosna Sema educational institutions and BURCH University.
