Polling stations opened in Greece this morning and Greeks began voting in early parliamentary elections, world agencies report, Patria reports.
The main favorite in the elections is the extreme left-wing party Syriza, whose victory could mark a political turnaround in Europe, where some other populist parties want to launch their own campaign against austerity measures, analysts warn.
These elections could be decisive for Greece's stay in the eurozone.
18 parties and four coalitions are participating in the elections.
