Parliamentarians to Discuss Dragan Mektić's Dismissal Today

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament will hold what is likely its last session before the General Elections on October 7th and in this convocation. The deputies will also consider the request of MPs Saša Magazinović, Jasmin Emrić, Mirsad Isaković, Momčilo Novaković, Šemsudin Mehmedović, Borislav Bojić, Maja Gasal Vražalica, Damir Bećirović, Senad Šepić, and Lazar Prodanović for the urgent procedure consideration of the Bill on Amendments to the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which relates to the punishment of internet and social media abuse for acts of terrorism.

Also on the agenda is the Bill on Prevention of Conflict of Interest in BiH Authorities.

Deputies will also consider the Information on the State of Public Debt of Bosnia and Herzegovina as of December 31, 2017.

Likewise, on the agenda is the request for a vote on the reconstruction of the Council of Ministers of BiH, submitted by SNSD and DNS MPs Staša Košarac, Lazar Prodanović, Dušanka Majkić, Nikola Špirić, Milica Marković, Miroslav Milovanović, Borislav Bojić, Đorđo Krčmar, and Jovan Vukovljak, respectively, and the request for the dismissal of the Minister of Security of BiH, Dragan Mektić. As it was heard, there will not be a majority for Mektić's dismissal.
