Park in Alipašino Polje named after killed police officers Adis Šehović and Davor Vujinović

(Patria) - The park in Alipašino Polje will be named after the killed Sarajevo police officers Adis Šehović and Davor Vujinović, decided today by the Assembly of the Sarajevo Canton.

27 representatives voted in favor of this proposal, while there were no votes against or abstentions.

Adis Šehović and Davor Vujinović were killed on October 26, 2018, in the Alipašino Polje neighborhood while performing police duties.

Last year, the Prosecutor's Office of the Sarajevo Canton filed an indictment against Sava Marinković, Aleksandar Macan, and Marko Trifković, who are charged with killing Šehović, who died at the scene that fateful night, and Vujinović, who succumbed to his injuries a few hours later at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo.
