PAPRIKASH IN A BOSNIAN POT Orban buys Dodik for 100 million euros, is the plan Hungarian or Russian?!

The self-destructive policy of European Union enlargement to the eastern bloc without questions and parameters could soon begin to take its toll. Boarding insufficiently transformed societies and their leaders into the European family on the principle of “the more lunatics with us, the fewer with Russia”, now like a giant boomerang threatens to take away from Brussels much more than the backbone of the eastern bloc. 

At the forefront of the nucleus of bad political whirlpools, perhaps out of turn, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has pushed his way in, a reduced Nazi, a hater of many things and a respecter of criminal-separatist policies. In a situation where the European Union was struggling with the removal of British tissue, Orban grew both in Hungary and in Southeast Europe. He took on the role of leader of European counter-sheriffs, surpassed the conservative government of Poland, and attached Janez Janša to the composition of neo-nationalism. 

These days in Slovenia, an investigation has begun into Orban's investments in Janša's political campaign. In fact, the portal necenzurisano.si on Monday brought a story that Orban pushed Janša's SDS media service with 12 million euros. Parliamentary commissions will investigate, and journalists from necenzurisanog.si state that SDS and Janša already have an advantage because they do not lack money. 

Milorad Dodik, another in a pleiad of political mice on the payroll of Putin's hero from Budapest, also rejoiced at such a situation, especially on the threshold of an election year. Of course, Aleksandar Vučić is also indispensable, and Orban is just waiting for the departure of Angela Merkel to settle down and complete another transfer to his flock. 

However, while others are more of a concern for Brussels, the Hungarian millions in the RS entity should worry official Sarajevo and all institutions of the system, including international financial institutions, institutions for the enforcement of the Constitution and laws, but also well-paid officials in power, who should, if nothing else, summon the Hungarian ambassador for a talk. 

Because, in the RS entity there is no average, let alone any larger community of Hungarians for Orban to puff out his chest with an incredible 100 million euros for a Hungarian fund in this entity. And that is neither more nor less than for small and medium-sized enterprises. Either it is an unprecedented public money laundering or the interest is worth several billion. But, as I said, the financial flows will have to be monitored by financial forensic experts from Europe and BiH. 

The political flows of this escapade, which RS Prime Minister Radovan Višković announces as a done deal, will have to be monitored by someone. Because, besides potentially suspicious money for suspicious activities, the question arises of establishing unconstitutional parallel and special relations between Hungary and the RS. At the same time, the question of the method of placing that money will have to be answered, because in accordance with the Constitution and legal regulations, the RS as an entity does not have the right to sign international agreements and contracts, and the formation of a Hungarian fund in Banja Luka will require that. 

Therefore, the BiH Presidency or at least its pro-state members should as soon as possible summon the Hungarian ambassador to BiH, and BiH's chief diplomat Bisera Turković her Hungarian colleague and ask him why official Budapest bypasses Sarajevo and finances its administrative sub-state arrangements.

Even banana states would wonder why a third party is financing the administrative part of their territory, especially if separatist parties function and rule on that territory. So it is up to those “pro-Bosnian”, I just hope they haven't gone into hibernation yet. 

And Orban obviously has a plan. The only question is whether the hammer forged it in Moscow or the Fidesz leader is making a retreat among neo-nationalists in case of a political clash with Brussels, especially since new winds are blowing in Germany. 

That there is some huge Orban interest in all this is also agreed by political scientist Velizar Antić, who today told RSE: “Orban leads a sovereignist story within the EU and has oscillations in relations between him and other EU leaders. With his arrival and the story about this fund, support has indeed been provided to Dodik. In the midst of all these announcements of sanctions against Dodik and his party, Orban takes the side of Milorad Dodik,” Antić points out.

Journalists of Radio Free Europe in the text tried to uncover the background of the whole story, but it seems we will have to wait a little longer for that. Because it is economically unjustified to invest a hundred million euros in the devastated economy of the RS, politically meaningless because the RS is politically powerless outside BiH's borders. 

The only thing that currently emerges as a reason for pouring Hungarian millions into Serbian business in BiH is the destabilization policy of Milorad Dodik. To Putin, Orban, Janša, Vučić and the like, crisis creators are perfectly suited. Dodik is masterful at that. Europe has already proven its powerlessness, American sanctions have proven ineffective. 

It's up to us, the old saying will go. Because, Dodik's referendumism, secessionism and separatism combined with Viktor Orban's suspicious paprikash can be a serious combination for the destabilization of BiH.
