(Patria) - The House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament did not support the principles of the Bill on the Court of BiH, proposed by Our Party MP Predrag Kojović, at today's session.
Of the 37 representatives present, 14 voted "for", 18 voted against, and five abstained, thus there was no general majority for its adoption.
The proposed law regulated the continuity of the Court of BiH, the establishment of an Appellate Division as a second-instance body, jurisdiction, internal organization, transparency, financing, and other issues of importance for the organization and functioning of the Court of BiH and the Appellate Division.
It also stipulated that the seat of the Court be in Sarajevo, and the Appellate Division in the municipality of Pale, in the city of East Sarajevo.
