Pair arrested: Extorted 60,000 KM from Banja Luka family

Police officers of the Criminal Police Sector of CJB Banja Luka have shed light on the extortion of money from a Banja Luka family. Two individuals, using force and threats, extorted a total of 60,000 KM from this family over the past ten months, reports the Patria News Agency.

Through criminal processing and operational work, it was determined that V.S. and I.S., from December 2014 to October 6, 2015, on multiple occasions, by threatening the life and body of a person from Banja Luka and his family, extorted a total of 60,000 KM from him.

A report has been submitted to the District Public Prosecutor's Office in Banja Luka against V.S. and I.S. due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they have committed the criminal offense of extortion, it was announced from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska.
