Pandurević: SDA's Resolution is a Copied Constitution of the Republic of BiH by Staša Košarac

(Patria) - I am analyzing the SDA Resolution in detail. The resolution is nothing more than a copied Constitution of the Republic of BiH, authored by Staša Košarac, Šahbaz Džihanović, Mirko Pejanović, Slave Kukić, Vehid Šehić, and Miodrag Živanović. 

Aleksandra Pandurević, former MP in the BiH State Parliament and member of the Serbian Democratic Party (SDS), wrote this on Twitter, after SNSD accused the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) of offering a Programmatic Declaration "aimed against Republika Srpska" or that they offered a "resolution of the Muslim people in BiH that calls for conflict" and "violation of the Dayton Peace Agreement.".

At its 7th Congress, the SDA adopted a Programmatic Declaration which, among other things, stated "affirmation of the Bosnian identity as the common identity of all citizens of BiH, while preserving ethnic particularities", while the Party sees Bosnia and Herzegovina as a "democratic, regionalized, legal, and social state under the name Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with three levels of government: state, regional, and local, with Sarajevo as the political, administrative, cultural, and economic center of Bosnia and Herzegovina".

Pandurević recalls the expert group that in June 2005 offered a similar "draft platform for a new democratic Constitution of the Republic of BiH", which also included Staša Košarac, head of the SNSD club in the BiH Parliament and member of the party's Presidency.

That draft, in the preparation of which Košarac participated, defined Bosnia and Herzegovina as a "republic, a sovereign, unified, democratic, legal, social, secular, and decentralized state within its existing internationally recognized borders, which are inviolable". 

"The Republic of BiH should ensure equality and equal rights for all citizens before the law, regardless of origin, race, or religion, and respect all religious beliefs," it was written in the Draft Platform, of which Košarac was a co-author.

"What has Alija's son come to, to copy Košarac," Pandurević concluded, Patria reports.
