Palestinian Community in BiH Surprised by Lack of Support for Gaza from Srebrenica

(Patria) - The Association of the Palestinian Community in BiH issued a press release expressing gratitude for the selfless aid and support for the people of the State of Palestine.

In addition to thanking the ministers in the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković and Sevlid Hurtić, and their closest associates, thanks were also extended to the Ambassador of the State of Qatar and his associates, the staff of Sarajevo International Airport, and members of the Border Police Unit at Sarajevo International Airport.

"The Association of the Palestinian Community in BiH also thanks the members of media houses who have been reporting professionally and impartially on the current situation in Palestine throughout this time.

The Palestinian Community in BiH is surprised that, from the beginning of the Israeli aggression until today, the support for the people of Palestine has been absent from those from whom we expected it the most and who survived the ordeal that our people are facing today, from our brothers from Srebrenica.

We cannot reconcile ourselves with the fact that the Vice-President of Republika Srpska Ćamil Duraković, Director of the Potočari Memorial Center Emir Suljagić, President of the Association of Mothers of Srebrenica Munira Subašić, and Deputy Head of the Srebrenica Municipality Hamdija Fejzić can silently watch the footage from Palestine.

Is the influence of the Potočari Memorial Center's connection with the World Jewish Congress so strong that the people of Srebrenica close their eyes to the images we see from Palestine every day?", stated the Palestinian Community in BiH.
