Paldum: Through the song "Sofra", Kemica left a mark of everything he truly was

An emotional farewell to Kemal Monteno, a legend of the music scene, left no one indifferent, especially not those who knew Kemica, writes the Patria news agency.

Hanka Paldum, a Bosnian diva, shared her emotions with Patria, saying that she would try to single out a memory, but there are so many that it is impossible.

- They constantly surge, every second, every moment. All our beautiful shared time together traveling, singing, collaborating - said Paldum.

She emphasized that his cheerful spirit was so deeply etched into the hearts of all who knew him.

- A few years ago, he recorded all his songs for me on CDs and said, choose one of my songs, I don't have a good enough lyric that you deserve for me to make a song for you. But, choose one of mine. I keep all those CDs and I will do that one day, God willing - says Paldum.

Monteno recorded his last duet, the song "Sofra", precisely with Hanka.

- Yes, in the meantime, the song "Sofra" happened, which he wholeheartedly accepted to do together. It is his last duet, and he had many. Through that song, he left a mark of everything he truly was. I can only say that he had the privilege to express love for people, for life, for his people, for all peoples, for Bosnia, for his city. He knew that and left a deep trace. Everything remains in our hearts, only unfortunately we will not meet him and we will not see that cheerful spirit he carried and spread. And from something sad and sorrowful, he transformed it into joy and happiness - Paldum emphasized through tears she could not, but also did not want to hide.
