Pack: We are facing a long-term danger in BiH

German Member of the European Parliament Doris Pack stated in an interview with the portal of this European institution that the recent events in BiH were expected, as there has been no stability in the country for a long time. The text emphasizes that the situation in BiH, along with the instability in Ukraine, represents a problem directly on the EU borders, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

- Politicians are unwilling to compromise and find solutions. I hope that the politicians responsible for this situation will finally start listening. It can only get better if politicians take a few steps forward. For now, we can only offer a helping hand as we have been doing all along, thereby showing that we are still deeply interested in the future of this country – Pack stated.

According to her, it is shameful that the interests of politicians differ from the interests of citizens who want to be part of the EU and have a better future.

- The state structure needs reshaping, and we cannot do that from the outside. The only thing we can do is prepare a better working environment, but for that, we need a strong will from within; if it is absent, then we are facing a long-term difficult situation – she said.
