(Patria) - Light snow is falling in most of Bosnia, melting on contact with asphalt and not accumulating on the roadway. In lower areas, precipitation is less intense, while in higher mountainous areas it is more pronounced. The roadway is mostly wet in Bosnia, while in Herzegovina the roads are mainly dry.
We warn of the possibility of landslides and falling rocks on sections passing through cuts, while fog and low clouds reduce visibility in valleys and along river courses.
Additionally, on the roads Šuica-Livno, Glamoč-Priluka and Sarajevo-Rogatica, we warn of frequent appearances of wild horses on the roadway.
We appeal to drivers to drive with maximum caution on all routes and to adjust their driving to current road conditions.
Due to construction works on the installation of noise barriers on the A-1 motorway section Sarajevo North - Podlugovi, traffic is only using the passing lane.
On the main road Jablanica-Blidinje, traffic is allowed for vehicles up to 3.5 tons, while traffic for vehicles over 3.5 tons remains suspended.
At border crossings, passenger vehicle traffic is flowing with short waiting times.
Due to passenger registration under the new system for entry and exit from European Union countries (EES, Entry/Exit System), longer waiting times are possible at border crossings.
The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons. As of December 2, 2025, the Karakaj border crossing is open for all vehicle categories. At the Šepak border crossing, traffic is prohibited for all freight vehicles.
