SARAJEVO, (Patria) - A patient from Zenica has been infected with coronavirus, Patria confirmed from the KS Crisis Staff.
It is a female person who traveled from the Italian region of Lombardy.
She is currently in isolation at the Zenica hospital.
In Sarajevo Canton, according to data from the KS Crisis Staff, 16 people are currently under health supervision due to coronavirus, based on decisions issued by federal border inspectors.
Since the end of January, 423 people have been processed to rule out suspicion of coronavirus. The patient from Zenica is the first confirmed case of infection.
Enhanced epidemiological and hygiene surveillance measures remain in effect.
