Coalition Formalized: Radončić with Izetbegović at the BiH Presidency

A meeting between SDA leader Bakir Izetbegović and SBB leader Fahrudin Radončić has begun at the BiH Presidency building, where they are expected to finally align their positions and formalize the entry of the SBB into the coalition with the SDA and HDZ BiH, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

We remind you that the party bodies of the SDA - the Collegium, the Presidency, and the Main Board, as well as the Main Board of the SBB, have given their support to the negotiations between the two leaders and the formation of a solid parliamentary majority in the Federation of BiH.

Although it is still not clearly defined which positions should go to the SBB, after the DF withdrew from the coalition, SDA Secretary General Amir Zukić stated that all four ministerial positions previously held by the DF will be taken over by the SBB. The leaders of SBiH and A-SDA, with whom the SDA signed a coalition at the end of July and on whom Izetbegović still counts, have not reacted to these statements.

Although the coalition between the SDA, HDZ BiH, and SBB has not yet been signed, it effectively came into being on Friday when the 2015 budget rebalance was passed in the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH with the votes of the SBB.
