Open letter from Pero Gudelj: See you soon with song and accordion

An open letter from owner Pero Gudelj was published today on the official website of the Fis Vitez company, which the Patria News Agency is transmitting in its entirety.

Dear friends,

after a full two months of my stay in the hospital, I feel the need to address you this way, to personally inform you about my health condition and to thank many people.

I currently feel very well and I am happy to be able to send you a few words. The first part of my treatment at UKCS has been successfully completed thanks to the exceptional expertise of the doctors and the entire staff, to whom I sincerely thank for everything they have done for me in the past period. Starting next week, I will continue my treatment at a spa, so I hope that part will also be successful.

I want to say that I am sincerely touched by the interest of so many people, many of whom I do not know personally, in my health condition. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of you who followed the information about my health daily and were with me in your thoughts and prayers. Many friends also managed to visit me in the hospital, so I greet them this way and thank them again for their attention. Some of them are: the President of the Federation Marinko Čavara, the owner of Violeta Petar Čorluka, Senad Hadžifejzović, Neda Ukraden, Hanka Paldum, Josip Pejaković, Marinko Jurčević, Boro Ramljak, Tončo Maros, Mato, Srećo and Željo Šarić, relatives and friends from Germany and Austria, the guardian of the Guča Gora monastery fra Drago Pranješ Čarli, fra Pero Vrebac from Bila, nuns Milica Šarić from Sarajevo and Celija Šarić from Zagreb, and many, many others.

I thank my long-time business friends Franjo, Anto and Vlado Rajković, Alojz Mlakić, Mirko Bobaš, the Vujević brothers, Franjo Franić, Mujo Smajić for their visit, and I greet all others who also expressed a desire to visit me, but whose visits were not realized due to a tight treatment schedule, and I say: see you soon with song and accordion.

I know that all the employees of FIS have been with me all this time and that they also wished to see me. A big thank you to my dear Fis employees, with the wish that we see each other soon.

Finally, I also want to publicly express my gratitude to those closest to me, and that is my family. Thank you to my children who are with me every day, as well as Zdravko Ramljak and Dragica Bonić, it is stated at the end of Pero Gudelj's letter.

Gudelj attempted suicide at the beginning of August, and the motives why this respected businessman decided to take this step are still unclear, although there have been various guesses and speculations.
