Open Letter to Igor Radojičić

Dear Igor, since I am now quite convinced that you will vote for the new Law on Public Order and Peace, just as you obediently voted for all other controversial laws passed in the previous convocation of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska and thus legalized and made successful many attempts by various tycoon power centers to "legally" seize the resources of Republika Srpska, I have decided to write you an open letter, reports the Patria News Agency, a letter addressed to Radojičić by former party colleague Tihomir Gligorić.

-I believe that this also falls under the definition of public space in which, from now on, order, work, and discipline will prevail, which the new minister Lukač will train. If it doesn't bother you, just do your job. I will do mine.

Less than ten days ago, you tweeted that Rajko Vasić's analysis of SNSD was the best ever. I want to remind you what he stated:

- that Milorad Dodik should no longer be the president of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats;

- that Dodik allowed an unbearable level of External Power and External Influence in the Party, at all levels and processes;

- that he introduced feudal-managerial personality profiles into the candidate and electoral mosaic, as well as into the party organization, who did not come from the organization and were not trained to act organizationally;

- that the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats has become a playground for individual political gain without organizational backing and a skyscraper with drafty rooms;

- that SNSD is now an empty gathering of members and invalid municipal committees that have no validity in elections.

You tweeted, but then you fell silent. And grew a beard. Mourning for the SNSD it could have been? Yes, it could have been, but it isn't and won't be, because there are not enough people in it who would dare to raise their heads and say what they think. Just as you, Igor, unfortunately, do not have the courage of an independent intellectual. It is also a fact that you never had it.

But, well, people hoped that you had matured, become more independent, more confident. That you no longer need Nebojša Radmanović to make your decisions. That you simply have your own opinion and the courage to express it publicly. Tweet it. Say it on camera. Write it. Sign something more substantial than a mere courteous letter thanking for information about obvious crime happening in some area (land administration, for example) and casually refer the author to the investigative bodies, which you know very well who they belong to and how they work.

You can think whatever you want to think, Igor. And you can hide a grimace or a sarcastic smile on your face more or less successfully. That won't work. In difficult times, when it becomes clear that things are going in the wrong direction, one must find the courage to say so. To resist, not to allow further rushing into ruin. To raise one's voice. To offer a solution and a way out. Only that is honest. Everything else is complicity, whether out of self-interest or cowardice, Gligorić stated in an open letter.
