Exhibition 'Under the Sky of Serene Faith: Islam and Europe in the Experience of Bosnia' Opens on October 11 in Sarajevo

(Patria) - After more than two years of diligent work and preparations, Sarajevo will host one of the most significant exhibitions in the region and Europe, the colossal project 'Under the Sky of Serene Faith: Islam and Europe in the Experience of Bosnia', realized by the Directorate for Education and Science of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The exhibition will open on October 11 and is the result of extensive work that brought together numerous artists, curators, experts, and prominent collaborators from various fields. Numerous significant guests from the world of art, religion, culture, and politics are expected to attend the grand opening of the exhibition. The importance of this exhibition has not escaped many world-renowned guests who have already confirmed their attendance at the grand opening.

As part of the exhibition, a series of accompanying events and programs will be held, such as panels, workshops, and lectures, which will allow visitors to get closer to the exhibited works, the creativity, heritage, and values of Muslims in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region, and to understand the context and its significance in world cultural heritage more deeply.

After Sarajevo, the exhibition will also be presented in other regional and European centers.

The multimedia project 'Under the Sky of Serene Faith: Islam and Europe in the Experience of Bosnia' thematizes and interprets the openness, dynamism, serenity, unique spiritual, cultural, civilizational, political-legal heritage, cultural heritage, artistic, architectural, construction, scientific, literary, musical, and other spiritual expressions and contributions of Bosnian worlds of Islam.

The first section of the exhibition 'Under the Sky of Serene Faith: Islam and Europe in the Experience of Bosnia' is titled 'Europe in the Mirror of Bosnia'.

'The exhibition, in itself, is an invitation for Europe to see itself in the mirror of Bosnia. The public will be informed about the nature of this performance in the coming period, and there will also be an opportunity for citizens of our country to participate in this project,' stated the exhibition organizers.
