Offers Opened for New Kilometers of Corridor 5c

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In the operational office of the Public Enterprise Autoceste FBiH in Sarajevo, a public opening of bids for the construction of the Corridor 5c highway, section Poprikuše – Zenica North (Donja Gračanica), subsection Ponirak-Vraca, was held yesterday, it was announced from Autoceste FBiH.

Offers for the construction of the Ponirak-Vraca subsection were submitted by the companies CENGIZ INSAAT SANAYI VE TICARET A.S. (Turkey) and EURO-ASFALT d.o.o. (Bosnia and Herzegovina).

The Ponirak – Vraca subsection is 2.65 km long, and the most significant structure on the subsection is the Zenica tunnel with a length of 2475 m for the left tube and 2420 m for the right tube.

The planned construction period is 30 months.

The construction of the Ponirak-Vraca subsection will be financed by funds secured from the European Investment Bank (EIB) in the amount of 50 million euros and WBIF grant funds.
