Investigation Opened: Nedeljko Dragaš Set Fire to Church Storage in Sarajevo's Pofalići Neighborhood

The Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton has opened an investigation against Nedeljko Dragaš due to reasonable suspicion that on August 21 in the morning hours at 43 Zmaja od Bosne Street, Novo Sarajevo Municipality, approaching the window of the storage-warehouse of the Orthodox Church of the Holy Transfiguration, through the protective grille on the storage window, using an open flame, he set fire to the wooden boards that secured the window, announced the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo, as reported by the Patria news agency.

After that, the fire engulfed the interior of the storage, resulting in damage in the form of scorched storage walls and damage and destruction of several movable items that were in the storage, thereby causing damage of approximately 2,000 BAM.
