Sarajevo City Center Opens, 1,500 People to Be Employed

Sarajevo City Center (SCC), a luxuriously decorated shopping and business center, was opened today in Sarajevo. Its opening had been eagerly awaited for a long time. Sulejman Al Shidi, son of the center's owner Abdulah Al Shidi, thanked the partners on this project.

- I want to thank the citizens of Sarajevo who welcomed and accepted us warmly. I hope you will like this gift and I hope there will be more. Enjoy – said Al Shidi.

Although the work on the exterior and interior of the building is not yet finished, the part of the building where the shopping center is located is completed, and a large number of citizens came to the opening. The space that was opened was too small to accommodate all the curious citizens who came to see one of the most luxurious shopping centers.

The opening was attended by the High Representative in BiH Valentin Incko, who said that this center is a beautiful gift to the city. Currently, SCC employs 1,000 people, and upon completion of the hotel and business part, 1,500 people will be employed.

Ejup Ganić also came to the opening and told the Patria news agency that all doubts about investments not coming to BiH have been dispelled with this opening.

- Many doubted, but investments have arrived after all, and today we are witnessing the opening of such a modern facility. Sarajevo is becoming more and more beautiful, and this is a step forward. – said Ganić.
