Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Department Opened at the Institute for Health Protection of MUP KS Employees

(Patria) - The Institute for Health Protection of Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) of Sarajevo Canton (KS) officially opened its Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation today, further improving the healthcare system for employees of security and judicial institutions.

The new department is intended for members of ministries of internal affairs and other police agencies, judicial institutions, the Intelligence-Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, civil protection administrations, and correctional facilities.

The department is equipped with modern medical and rehabilitation equipment purchased with funds from the KS Ministry of Health, which financed the establishment and equipping of this department.

KS Minister of Health Enis Hasanović emphasized that this is an important step in strengthening the health system for employees who perform extremely demanding and responsible jobs.

- By opening this department, we continue systematic investments in health infrastructure and the improvement of services for those who take care of the security and functioning of society on a daily basis.

We have secured funds for the procurement of modern equipment, because we believe that accessible and quality rehabilitation must be part of standard healthcare - said Hasanović.

Director of the Institute for Health Protection of MUP KS Employees Sanjin Saračević emphasized that the new department will significantly improve the quality of health services for the Institute's users.

- From now on, our users will receive modern physical therapy and rehabilitation services in one place, with professional staff and adequate working conditions. Thanks to the support of the KS Ministry of Health, the foundations have been laid for further development and expansion of the Institute's activities - points out Saračević.

In the coming period, renovation of additional premises and further expansion of the range of health services are planned.
