Competition Announced for Conceptual Design of the Memorial Complex on Žuč

The Ministry for Veterans' Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, through the Memorial Fund, and the municipality of Novi Grad have initiated activities for the development of a conceptual design for the Memorial Complex on Žuč. A commission has been formed to prepare the project task, and a competition for the conceptual design has been announced.

-The competition was published on August 11 on the website of the Public Procurement Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and will last for the next two months. A monetary prize of 15,000 KM has been secured for the best conceptual solution, as well as second and third prizes in the amounts of seven and three thousand KM, respectively, stated today at a press conference the director of the Memorial Fund, Nurudin Džiho.

The commission for selecting the best conceptual solution includes representatives of the relevant cantonal ministries and institutes, the Memorial Fund, three municipalities, the Association of Architects, and the Faculty of Architecture, as announced by the Government of Sarajevo Canton.
