Employer Center Opened in Novo Sarajevo

In the premises of the Novo Sarajevo Bureau, at Ložionička 5 street, the Employer Center was officially opened today. The Center will provide employers with a complete service in one place, including job postings in line with their needs, support in candidate selection (pre-selection, interviews, mini job fairs), active employment measures which include information and counseling on how to use employment incentives, as well as legal advice related to employment procedures and information on work permits (process and issuance of work permits), reports the BiH news agency Patria.

Director of the Employment Service, Igor Kamočaji, stated that from communication with employers, they concluded that it is necessary to have a center where they can get all the necessary information about the activities of the Employment Service, ways to apply for its programs, selection of personnel they are looking for, issuance of work permits, and other things that interest them. He emphasized that they are trying to improve the level of services and communication with employers, because without them, the mediation of the Service, the selection of unemployed persons, and their integration into the labor market would be questionable.

 

The project was realized in cooperation with the Youth Employment Project (YEP) and with the support of the Swiss Government.

- Entrepreneurs are the backbone of the economy and society. If there are no companies, there is no work, if there is no work, there is no income, if there is no income, there is no possibility to build a life - said the Deputy Head of Mission of the Swiss Embassy, David Kramer, on this occasion, adding that he is proud of the opening of this center.

Employers who expressed satisfaction with the opening of such a center also attended the opening.

- With the opening of this center, we will have better service, better communication, and we will find the workers we need more quickly - said Adnan Kadrić from the company "Restauro".

The ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Novo Sarajevo Municipality, Nedžad Koldžo, and Safudin Čengić from the Association of Employers of FBiH.
