Resistance - the magic word for the survival of all those threatened by the ruthlessness of realpolitik

(Patria) - Today's topic at the Krug 99 session is "Outlines of the new world order and regional aspirations in the Balkans", with the introductory speaker Arsim Zekolli, a political analyst and diplomat from Macedonia.

"Perhaps the very motive for choosing the introductory speaker is also the goal, so that confusion, whether constructed or simply the product of seductive snares of the captured mind, political unenlightenment, or a common-sense view of reality from a 'frog's perspective', is less so. Rational assessment of reality from a different, 'bird's-eye view' in pivotal times, as it appears today on a global, regional, and Bosnian level, is a necessity for us", stated Adil Kulenović.

For the courage to act and strengthen our own potential. Resistance, that magic word
for the survival of all those who are threatened by the ruthlessness of realpolitik, will only be productive to the extent of the generative power of civilizational visions for exiting the current state, so that the irrational does not gain the guise of a rational, unchangeable, and only possible state.

"The world's captivity is the first step towards change itself. Therefore, we did not host Albin Kurti in Sarajevo to create media clamor, even less out of stubbornness towards those who deify and invite war criminals from the past war to move and profile criminals for future war horrors, but simply a leader who has the courage to be at the head of the Kosovo nation of all its citizens, regardless of internal and external contradictions and challenges.

We invited the experienced diplomat and ingenious analyst Arsim Zekolli precisely because we recognized the essence and core of our geopolitical, regional, Balkan, and, certainly, in its key aspects, Bosnian drama.

For illustration, and not only because of one of the accents of today's topic, we will quote his assertion that what is happening in our region is a copied version of colonial rule through the favoring of minorities at the expense of democracy. The Kovačević case before the ECtHR is a contribution to opposing this, regardless of the outcome in these ominous times.

Zukoli says: "Take any country in the region and you will notice that power is in the hands of some minority. Like the rule of minority Sunnis over Shiites in Iraq, like the rule of minority Alawites in Syria over Sunnis, like African Americans over Africans in Sierra Leone, like post-KGB groups in Central Asian states. Compare this to our situation: in Montenegro,
the rule of minority Serbs and pseudo-Albanians over majority Montenegrins, in Bosnia, the rule of an unprincipled Serb-Croat coalition over Bosniaks, in Macedonia, the dominance of Albanians over Macedonians, and within Albanians, UDBA groups dominate (or hide) in Macedonia, in Albania, the dominance of old Orthodox-Muslim families of Sigurimi and anti-Catholics from the time of Enver Hoxha.

And finally, Serbia, dominated by the 'gudurski-kartel' of Krajina people, Metohija people, Zeta people, generally as Jevrem Brković calls them, "Durmitor stoysers" in all institutions (especially security and financial) over Serbs from Serbia proper and Šumadija. These groups – everywhere – were the axis through which UDBA or the Federation controlled "brotherhood-unity", and now these same groups have been taken over by America and Europe".  

So, this directly concerns us. And the Putin-Trump order being imposed on humanity is not a reason to abandon the European values of liberal democracy. If only our political enlightenment were on par with that. And trust, as well, emphasized Kulenović.
