ONE CANDIDATE FOR PRIME MINISTER DROPPED OUT Adnan Šteta took over the duties of the Minister of Communal Economy, Minister Softić-Kadenić refused

(Patria) - Until a new minister is appointed, I have accepted to be the acting Minister of Communal Economy, Infrastructure, Spatial Planning, Construction, Nature and Environmental Protection of KS, announced the Minister of Transport in the KS Government Adnan Šteta.

"SDP Sarajevo has only one goal, and that is a more functional, decisive and courageous KS Government, which will be at the service of all citizens. This is achieved only by tackling problems and not turning away from them, but by decisively and courageously taking responsibility.

Primarily, I will continue to be the Minister of Transport, and I will help the other Ministry so that basic processes do not stop until a new minister is appointed. Although SDP did not have responsibility for this sector in the past, I decided to help as much as I can.

Honestly, I expected Our Party to appoint an acting minister from their own party after taking responsibility for all developments in the Ministry, however, the minister from Our Party in the Government of Sarajevo Canton did not want to take on the role of acting minister.

I accepted the decision primarily because we must not allow stagnation in this Ministry, as we have now, and the citizens, employees, and all our communal companies suffer the most from the consequences.
Aware of all the challenges and huge projects I have in the Ministry of Transport, I accept the enormous additional pressure by temporarily entering another Ministry, but there is no other way.

In this situation, when the Government faces a large number of challenges, I consider this to be a responsible decision for the citizens of Sarajevo Canton, who have been facing great difficulties from this sector recently.

I expect all involved parties to find a solution to the newly created situation as soon as possible and for us to have a new Minister of Communal Economy, Infrastructure, Spatial Planning, Construction, Nature and Environmental Protection of KS in the coming period," stated Šteta.
