Unveiling of memorial in remembrance of battles fought on May 2, 1992

On the occasion of marking the Day of Centar Municipality on May 4, laying of flowers at city cemeteries and memorials is planned.

A delegation of Centar Municipality will lay flowers at the Kovači Martyrs' Cemetery and the grave of the first president and Supreme Commander of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina Alija Izetbegović at 9 AM. At 9:30 AM, flowers will be laid at the "Eternal Flame" memorial, and at 10 AM at the monument to the murdered children of besieged Sarajevo 1992-1995. Laying of flowers at the Grdonj-Mala Kula memorial is planned for 10:30 AM.

A formal session of the Centar Municipal Council will be held at 11:30 AM in the large hall of the Centar Municipality.

At 12:30 PM, the unveiling of a memorial in remembrance of the battles fought on May 2, 1992, near the Skenderija Bridge, featuring a bust of Vladimir Perić Valter, is planned.
