Borci's protests in front of the FBiH Government cancelled

Federal Minister for Veterans and Disabled Veterans of the Liberation War Salko Bukvarević and member of the Collegium of the House of Peoples in the FBiH Parliament Osman Ćatić met with the Coordination of veterans' associations and unions in FBiH in Konjic.

The meeting discussed the announced protest gathering of certain categories of veterans on September 26, 2016, in front of the building of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Government in Sarajevo.

The reason for the protest gathering is the Coordination's request for amendments to the Law on Early and More Favorable Retirement of Members of the Defense-Liberation War.

After a multi-hour meeting, the Coordination's secretary Husein Šabić read a statement for the membership and the public, which stated:

- Taking into account the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and after the meeting with Minister Bukvarević and delegate in the House of Peoples Osman Ćatić, the Presidency of the Coordination informs you that the protests announced for Monday, September 26, 2016, are postponed until further notice, i.e., until the completion of the Coordination's meeting with representatives of the executive and legislative authorities scheduled for October 13, 2016 - it was announced from the Federal Ministry for Veterans and Disabled Veterans of the Liberation War.
