All Celebrations of Sarajevo City Day Canceled

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Acting in accordance with Article 35 of the Rules of Procedure of the Sarajevo City Council ("Official Gazette of Sarajevo Canton", number 28/09), the Law on Protection of the Population from Infectious Diseases of the Federation of BiH („Official Gazette of F BiH", number 29/05), the Conclusion of the Government of F BiH V. number: 164/2020 of 31.01.2020 on declaring an infectious disease whose prevention and control is of interest to the Federation of BiH, the Recommendation of the Federal Ministry of Health, number: 01-33-1490/20 of 13.03.2020, and the Order of the Crisis Headquarters of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, due to the newly emerged situation related to
the possibility of the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), as of 17.03.2020 until further notice, all activities of the Sarajevo City Council are temporarily suspended, i.e., canceled.

The activities refer to the preparation and holding of sessions of the Sarajevo City Council and its working bodies, the preparation and holding of the Ceremonial Session of the City Council on the occasion of April 6 - Sarajevo City Day, and
events marking the 75th anniversary of the city's liberation from fascism "Sarajevo my love - 75 years of liberation of Sarajevo", as well as all other activities prepared and organized by the Sarajevo City Council.
