(Patria) - The twelfth emergency session of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will not be held on 14 January 2025, as stated in a letter to federal deputies, signed by the Speaker of this House, Dragan Mioković.
"The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, by act number 03-02-205372024 of 13 January 2025, withdrew from the parliamentary procedure the Proposal for a Decision on the temporary financing of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the period January-March 2025," reads Mioković's letter.
Federal Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić decided on this move after today's session of the Economic and Social Council (ESC).
In a letter to the Speakers of both houses of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nikšić stated that the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will submit the Proposal for the Budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2025 to the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina by the end of the week.
Mioković's letter was published on his Facebook profile by Democratic Front deputy Sanel Kajan.
"For the third time in the last month, they are cancelling a parliamentary session. For the third time less than 24 hours before the session. Extremely unprofessional and discourteous," Kajan wrote.
