(Patria) - The men's World Cup slalom on Zagreb's Sljeme, scheduled for Thursday, has been cancelled due to poor conditions on the course.
The race started and the first run was completed by 19 skiers, but after that it was decided that the conditions were such that they did not allow the race to continue.
The race was originally scheduled for Wednesday, but due to the state of the snow surface on the lower part of the course, it was on the verge of cancellation.
However, the organisers, led by race director Vedran Pavlek, managed to postpone the race to Thursday. But even on Thursday there was no luck.
