The textile, clothing, leather, footwear, fashion and related industries fair „IFATEX 2014”, which was to be held from 15 to 18 October 2014 in Skenderija, has been cancelled, announced the Skenderija Center, as reported by the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP).
The notice states that a large number of exhibitors are cancelling their participation in the fair, which is why the organiser has completely abandoned the fair.
Bosnia and Herzegovina is a country with a traditional production of textiles and footwear. This industry was completely destroyed during the recent war conflicts, but in the last few years its recovery has been noticeable.
The „IFATEX 2014” fair was supposed to be an additional incentive for domestic textile workers and foreign investors, but its holding has been postponed for now, reports NAP.
