Difficult traffic, caution due to frequent landslides

Heavy snow is falling in western and southwestern Bosnia, making traffic difficult and slow. Thanks to the efforts of road services, all routes are currently passable, according to BIHAMK, reports Patria news agency.

Due to strong winds and snow drifts, traffic is particularly difficult on the following routes: Bosanski Petrovac-Drvar, Ključ-Bosanski Petrovac, Ripač-Vrtoče, Kupres-Livno, Šuica-Tomislavgrad, Livno-Glamoč-Mlinište, and Livno-Bosansko Grahovo-Drvar. There is also snow on the road on the Tjentište-Gacko route, as well as on roads in the Mrkonjić Grad and Skender Vakuf areas. Trucks with trailers and semi-trailers are required to use chains on all these routes.

Mist is reducing visibility on roads in the Tuzla Canton. We draw attention to frequent rockfalls onto the road.

We appeal to drivers to drive with maximum caution and to maintain a safe distance between vehicles. Please note that winter equipment is mandatory.

Border crossings have short waiting times. Due to winter driving conditions in Croatia, traffic for all vehicles has been suspended at the Izačić border crossing since 5:30 this morning.
