(Patria) - Rusmir Musa, a retired colonel of the Armed Forces, doctor of science, and - by which he is best known - the father of world-renowned basketball player Džanan Musa, is the SDA candidate for Mayor of Bihać.
As learned by Politicki.ba, he had previously accepted the candidacy. However, for it to become official, Rusmir had to, among other things, leave the Armed Forces, which he did, retiring early.
Rusmir was Džanan's first coach and is credited with his huge successes in basketball. In addition, he is an advisor to the Real Madrid Basketball Club.
His candidacy was confirmed at today's session of the Bihać SDA City Committee.
