MOSTAR, (Patria) - At the proposal of the Prosecutor's Office of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton Mostar, by the Decision of the Municipal Court in Mostar dated 03/19/2020, one-month detention was ordered for D.A. (1989), Ž.S. (1998), and A.S. (1995), due to well-founded suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of Grievous Bodily Harm.
Namely, D.A., Ž.S., and A.S. are suspected of having, on 03/16/2020, around 9:00 PM, in Mostarskog bataljona street, in Mostar, entered the business premises where the injured party O.T. was located, in such a way that the primary suspect D.A. kicked the glass on the entrance door of the said premises, breaking it, then unlocked the entrance door, and then all three entered the interior of the business premises, and using their hands and feet, as well as a metal knuckle-duster, beat the injured party on the head and other parts of the body, as a result of which the injured party sustained grievous bodily harm.
The Municipal Court assessed that the ordering of detention for the suspects was entirely founded and justified, ordering detention for the primary suspect D.A. due to circumstances indicating a risk of flight, and for the second suspect Ž.S. and the third suspect A.S. due to the fear that if released, they might repeat the criminal offense. The Prosecutor's Office of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, continues to undertake investigative actions in this case.
