Primary School 'Sokolje' Celebrated its 18th Birthday

(Patria) - Public Institution Primary School "Sokolje" celebrated eighteen years of successful work.

The ceremony titled "When I Grow Up, I Will Be a Child" was prepared with a lot of love, energy, and enthusiasm by students from the first to the ninth grade, together with their teachers.



The school's ID card and the values it promotes were symbolically presented at the ceremony: knowledge, love, tolerance, peace, and investment in a future that a happy and secure child will carry forward.

The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Mayor of the City of Sarajevo Anja Margetić, the Mayor of Novi Grad Municipality Semir Efendić, representatives of municipal education and veteran affairs services, municipal councilors, deputies in the cantonal and parliamentary assembly, directors of Sarajevo schools, parents, students, and numerous guests and friends of the school.

Following the ceremony, the official opening of the summer classroom in the schoolyard took place.



The long-standing wish of the school's employees and management to build a summer classroom for conducting educational and extracurricular activities with students was fulfilled today.

The Municipality of Novi Grad financed the construction of the classroom through the project "Assistance to Schools for Improving Work," and the school's dedicated technical staff ensured the classroom received its final appearance.
