Bosnian-Pakistani Student Association Founded: Students from Pakistan to Visit BiH by Year-End

Today, the Bosnian-Pakistani Student Association was founded at the Roots school center in Islamabad, reports the Patria News Agency.

The goal of establishing the Association is for students from the two countries to get to know each other and cooperate. The Association has begun studying Bosnian culture and history, and the first visit-excursion of their students is expected by the end of this year.

Otherwise, the students attend the international Oxford curriculum, which places them among the elite of Pakistani education.

In his address, the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Pakistan, Nedim Makarević, speaking about the state of education in Pakistan, emphasized that in most of the country, especially in the provinces of KPK (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) and Balochistan, there is a high rate of illiteracy.

Therefore, the BiH Embassy in Pakistan has launched an initiative to build a school for Pakistani primary school children. The President of the Association, Faisal Mustak, thanked Ambassador Makarević for his active advocacy and expressed hope for the successful work of the Association in the future.
