Osmanović on Pelješac Bridge: We have blockades from high BiH officials

(Patria) - Member of the House of Representatives of the PSBiH and Minister of Civil Affairs of BiH Adil Osmanović stated that there are disagreements between SNSD, SDA, and DF regarding the formation of state government.  

He said that SDA expected today's session to be held and conclusions to be adopted that should encourage all institutions to get serious.  

"The burden of the migrant crisis should be distributed among municipalities, cantons, entities, and the state. In this case, only some cantons and some municipalities bear the burden of the migrant crisis," said Osmanović.  

He assessed that he regrets that no one from the RS entity came to the session, except for him, which resulted in the inability to adopt any conclusions.  

Regarding the non-appointment of a delegation to the Council of Europe, Osmanović said that SNSD is blocking the work of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH until the Council of Ministers of BiH is appointed.

"In this case, SNSD bears responsibility," said Osmanović, adding that now no one will defend BiH's positions in the Council of Europe, which is a very important body, and negative consequences can be expected.  

He said that there are disagreements on the formation of government between SNSD-SDA-DF regarding SNSD's non-compliance with the laws and Constitution of BiH when it comes to activating the MAP.

"This is an obligation of all those elected in the last elections. We expect SNSD to respect it. Submitting the national annual plan is not NATO membership," said Osmanović.  

Osmanović also stated that there are problems with the distribution of ministries in the Council of Ministers of BiH, specifically SNSD's demands to have three ministers of Serb nationality in the Council of Ministers of BiH in addition to the chairperson.

"This has never happened before, and I don't know where they got such a thesis. I estimate that at the meeting to be held next week, which should include representatives of all three political parties, we will find a solution to form the Council of Ministers of BiH and the FBiH Government as soon as possible"; said Osmanović.  

He also referred to the construction of the Pelješac Bridge, pointing out that both the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH have encountered blockades from ministers of the HDZ.  

"I did not expect it, but we also had a blockade from certain members of the BiH Legal Counsel. We submitted a lawsuit that the BiH Legal Counsel was supposed to submit to the competent court in Hamburg. It did not reach the collegium to submit that lawsuit. We have blockades from high officials of the state of BiH," said Osmanović.
