Osmanović: Lagumdžija's dismissal will not disrupt the work of the FBiH Government!

It is logical that SDA deputies vote for the dismissal of Minister of Foreign Affairs Zlatko Lagumdžija, but I see no reason for this to affect the work of the Government of the Federation of BiH, he told the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP) Adil Osmanović, Vice President of the SDA and Federal Minister of Displaced Persons and Refugees.

He says that support for Lagumdžija's dismissal is understandable given that, as he puts it, in an extremely discourteous manner, „the arrogant policy of participating in the dismissal of SDA ministers in the Council of Ministers of BiH, who did their job well - Sadik Ahmetović and Muhamed Ibrahimović“ was demonstrated.

- Expecting our representatives not to support Lagumdžija's dismissal is illusory. When it comes to the agenda, we will vote for his dismissal, of course, we have our reasons – Osmanović said.

Osmanović noted that the Main Board of the Party of Democratic Action made a decision to break the coalition the moment the SDP, back in May 2012, completely recklessly initiated the dismissal of ministers in the cantons and the Council of Ministers and attempted the dismissal of ministers in the FBiH Government.

Asked whether this dismissal could eventually affect the functioning of the FBiH Government, Osmanović said that the Government had worked even when SDA officials were dismissed.

- The FBiH Government, led by Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić, worked even when Ahmetović and Ibrahimović were dismissed, and therefore, I see no reason why the FBiH Government cannot work when we dismiss Zlatko Lagumdžija as well – Osmanović emphasized.

Speaking about the law on establishing the Flood Relief Fund, which did not pass at the sessions of the FBiH Parliament, Osmanović said that „this law should and must have passed“.

- Unfortunately, a significant number of deputies from the parliamentary majority supporting this government were not present, and I hope that it will be adopted on Monday in the House of Peoples, and the House of Representatives will do the same on Wednesday – Osmanović said.
